SURVEY
Many changes have been made to our beaches as a result of Hurricane Ian and these have resulted in changes to many properties. Volusia County and the FDEP are assessing damages on a case by case basis and it is most certainly in the best interest of all owners to address this issue first. Steelhead Construction can assist with these meetings and also provide Surveying Contacts to produce updated survey documents.
Step 2
Permitting
There are many challenges to permitting seawall projects. Steelhead is a state certified building contractor CBC1263026 and can handle this process entirely with our permit technicians. These fees can be variable and estimation will be made as part of sales proposal for each individual job. Delays can be long in this process so now is the time to get started as restricted and storm seasons are always approaching. The below links to the FDEP webiste have useful information for owners specifically affected by these disasters.

Steelhead has experienced engineers on staff with direct knowledge of these type of applications and processes. During this step Steelhead can help to assist with explaining the products being typically used for this type of construction. We offer several levels of strength options that can be reviewed in the estimating phase of your project.
